Predictions & deadline

  • Submit through the official website or an authorised PLP app.
  • When Admin activates editing, a player may use their private code to view and change only their own saved scores.
  • Each resubmission creates a numbered version and records how many match scores changed.
  • The deadline is one hour before the first match, in Mauritius time.
  • All editing and new submissions close automatically at the deadline. No late entries are accepted.
  • Rule 6.6: Missing the deadline means no entry for that Gameweek. The non-submission calculation in Rule 12 applies.

Season 6 divisions

  • Elite League: 20 players
  • Division Two: 13 players for Season 6
  • Division Three: 12 players for Season 6
  • New players begin in Division Three.
  • The standard 20 / 15 / 10 structure returns in Season 7.

Eligibility & conduct

  • Participation is free and open to Mauritian citizens.
  • Players under 18 require written parental or guardian consent.
  • Respectful conduct and sportsmanship are required.
  • Misconduct, harassment, abusive language or misuse of the website can lead to removal.

Official communication

  • Website notices and the Official WhatsApp Game Group are the official channels.
  • Players must check these channels for deadlines and updates.
  • Private chats and other WhatsApp groups are not official instructions.

Correct Golden Boot winner: 10 points. Otherwise points follow this table.

Promotion & relegation

Elite League1st place is Champion. Bottom 3 are relegated to Division Two.
Division TwoTop 3 are promoted to Elite League. Bottom 3 are relegated to Division Three.
Division Three · Season 6Top 5 are promoted to Division Two to restore the standard structure for Season 7. There is no relegation from Division Three.

Vacancies may be filled by the next eligible player from the division below. Inactivity rules may also result in relegation or removal.

Leaderboard

The website updates the leaderboard throughout each Gameweek. If players are level on points, the tie-breaks apply in this exact order:

  1. Number of exact scores
  2. Number of correct results
  3. Goal difference coefficient
  4. Goal difference
  5. Total win percentage
The official leaderboard may also be shared in the official WhatsApp Game Group and on the official Premier League Picks Facebook page.

IMPORTANT PENALTY WARNING

Non-submission of a Gameweek form

  • A player who does not submit receives 0 points for every missed match.
  • For each missed match, the penalties are GDC −1 per match and GD −3 per match (combined penalty −4).
  • A full 10-match non-submission therefore gives 0 points, GDC −10 and GD −30 (combined penalty −40).

Player activity

  • Keep your PDF confirmation after submitting.
  • Elite: missing 30+ matches results in relegation.
  • Division Two: missing 40+ matches results in relegation.
  • Division Three: missing 50+ matches may result in removal next season.

Season prizes

  • Elite: trophy cups for 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
  • Division Two: trophy shields for 1st and 2nd.
  • Division Three: trophy shield for the Champion.
  • All participants must maintain respectful sportsmanship.

Admin activity & prediction privacy

  • Predictions stay private until every player has submitted or the deadline has passed.
  • Admin controls whether secure player editing is available for each Gameweek; it never continues past the deadline.
  • A player’s private code reveals only that player’s own saved form.
  • Players are responsible for submitting on time; the Admin is not required to send reminders.
  • Minor errors or unforeseen issues may be resolved fairly without giving any player an unfair advantage.
